InsideTrack.news is a not-for-profit organisation. It is run by its members for its members. The founders of InsideTrack.news, Archangel, Blacklight and VoyagerOne are altruistic individuals who want to bring you the truth about what’s going on internationally and domestically so that you can make informed decisions about how to approach the world and live your lives happily and safely. We can only do that by helping you to work with us and add informative, truthful, well-researched information to InsideTrack.news. We’re all in this together.

Our promises to you.

The existence of this website is predicated on the principles of morality, truthfulness and respect.

• We won’t share your data with anyone. All we store is your email address, user name and password in any case, and your password is encrypted; we can’t even find out what it is. It is never stored in a readable or retrievable format anywhere on InsideTrack.news.
• We will never use your email address to spam you.
• We will absolutely never, ever sell or give away your email address to a third party for any reason whatsoever.
• We use cookies. Most websites do. Please take our word for it that they are used only to make your authentication on, access to and navigation of the site as smooth and hassle free as possible.

Your promises to us and how we help you keep them.

You promise to post genuine questions and useful, honest and well-researched answers and comments on InsideTrack.news.

• If you post a question that, through the process of voting, the site members deem to be unsuitable, one of the admins will delete it.
• If you post an answer or comment that, through the process of voting, the site members deem to be unsuitable, one of the admins will delete it.
• If you post an answer or comment that is off-topic for the thread on which it is posted, the admins will help you to find a better home for it within InsideTrack.news. If there is no existing home for it, the admins will create – or help you to create – a question against which your comment or answer can live.
• Corroborated fact is what we strive for on InsideTrack.news. Fact is valuable. Opinion is worthless. If you post an answer or a comment as fact without providing evidence, citations and/or references, the admins will ask you to edit your post and provide such.

The Naughty Step.

Be nice to one another on the site. If you harass or abuse someone on the site or do something unacceptable, you’ll get a ban. (No, I’m not going to define ‘something unacceptable;’ you’re an adult; your own judgement will tell you whether something is going to get you a ban or not, as you’re doing it.)

A ban is a temporary revocation of your privilege to log in to InsideTrack.news. The decision to impose a ban and the length of said ban is decided by the Founders, by vote.
